13th Beach
13th Beach Golf Links
The Courses
13th Beach features two 18-hole championship courses – the Beach Course designed by Tony Cashmore and Graeme Grant, and the Creek Course designed by Sir Nick Faldo and Tony Cashmore. A 9-hole short course has also been added recently, bringing the total playable holes to 45. Facilities also include a golf academy, pro shop, restaurant, and wide open practice areas. The courses wind through natural vegetation, lakes, and sand dunes along the shoreline of 13th Beach.
History
Opening in 1997, 13th Beach was born after developers Brian Morrissey and Lewis Wood headed efforts to transform rugged farmland into a premier golfing destination. The Creek Course opened first in 1997, while the Beach Course debuted in 1998. Major events like the 2009 World Cup and 2012 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open have showcased 13th Beach to global audiences, while the Vic Open has called 13th Beach home since 2011.
